Rovu is operated by Aryan Prashant Dufare (ABN 25 158 759 769), trading as Rovu. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our platform.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when submitting feedback through a Rovu-powered review page. This may include your star rating, written review, chip selections, and optionally your name and email address. We also collect basic usage data such as the venue visited and time of submission.
2. How we use your information
Feedback submitted through Rovu is used to help venue operators understand their guest experience. Positive reviews (4-5 stars) may be redirected to Google or other public platforms at the guest's discretion. Private feedback (1-3 stars) is shared only with the venue operator and is never made public.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Feedback data is shared with the venue operator whose Rovu page you submitted through. We use Supabase to store data securely and Resend to deliver email notifications to venue operators.
4. Data retention
Feedback data is retained for the duration of the venue's subscription with Rovu. Venue operators may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.
5. Cookies
Rovu does not use tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or share browsing data with third parties.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secured, access-controlled databases.
7. Your rights

8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Rovu after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
